Welcome To Heritage
We are so glad you stopped by and we hope you’ll join us soon, but since you’re new around here, let us tell you a little of what you should expect.
When you visit we hope you will find a place where you feel welcomed and at home. We are here to serve you and help you find a meaningful place where you can worship and serve God and connect with others.
We hope that you will be encouraged and inspired by what you experience here at Heritage. We are seeing people healed, lives changed and relationships restored. God’s presence is here and we hope that you will encounter His great love for you along with meaningful relationships with fellow members in search of the same.
Heritage is committed to helping every person grow in their relationship with God and others, and we hope one day you’ll choose to call Heritage home as well.
What to Expect
Wherever you are in life or your thoughts about God, you are welcome here.
9am–Traditional Worship with Choir and Special Music
10-10:30 am–Inter-generational connect time with coffee and juice fellowship in Building A.
10:30am–Contemporary Worship with Praise Band
What will my child experience?
During the 9 am hour, the children will have an opportunity to participate in a connect group with other children their age. It is our hope that your child will enjoy getting to know other children, leaders, and feel a true sense of belonging to their specific connect group. During connect groups, the children will participate in age appropriate activities to help them discover who God is and gain a new understanding of how to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
At 10:30 am, we will be offering an age appropriate time of worship for your child. Your child will have an opportunity to sing, pray, give their offerings, listen to Bible Stories and worship in a large group setting. We will be using different media formats to encourage your child to grow in their relationship with God.
What should I wear?
Shorts and a t-shirt, jeans and a dress shirt, suit and tie, whatever you want to wear is welcome here! We want you to be comfortable and come as you are!
Where do I park?
Three parking lots are available. The main lot is just off the south entrance where parking attendants will assist you. The east lot is across the street, on Belcher Road, and has wonderful police personnel to assist you across the street and the west lot is located around back of our building near the portico entrance. Do you have a chapel?
Yes, we do. The Chapel is open for prayer, led by Rev. Curtis Paige, on Sundays 8-8:30 am. The Chapel is also open Monday through Friday for private prayer or meditation.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month in all our worship services. In accordance with our belief in God’s prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace, we honor the United Methodist tradition of offering Holy Communion to all who desire to receive it: members and non-members, children and adults.
Baptisms are celebrated in each of the worship services and are scheduled by request after completion of the baptism class. If you are interested in being baptized or having your child baptized, please contact Pat Bluhm in the church office.
How do I find out more information?
On Sunday, you will find a visitor card at the “Welcome” area. Please fill out the visitor card and drop it off at the welcome table or at the information desk outside the Sanctuary.
