Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry

It is our goal to partner with parents and families to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. Thus it is our desire for our children to love church. We want your child to know that they are loved, are cared for and are safe. We use MY FIRST LOOK curriculum for our preschoolers and 252 BASICS for our school age children. This curricula accommodates different learning styles while engaging the children in fun, Christ centered learning.

Childcare

We know your child is precious to you, that is why we provide an environment that is both safe and nurturing. Children’s Ministry is staffed by the most loving and experienced staff and volunteers. Special security precautions are taken to insure that you alone have access to your child before, during and after the church events.

In an effort to keep our nursery a safe environment we ask that if your child has been sick, vomiting, had diarrhea, rash infection or fever within the past 24 hours, that you not leave them in our care. If we discover that your child is not feeling well we will notify you immediately.

During Non-Worship Hours

We offer childcare to families during small groups, Bible studies, classes and special events. This ministry is designed to bless you and allow you to serve and get connected in the life of Heritage. We understand that your child needs a loving, nurturing, kid-friendly environment while on our campus. We have a wonderful trained staff that have been through an orientation process and have been screened and background- checked to work with your child.

TeamKID: Sundays 5:00 – 6:30 pm, CM Auditorium

TeamKid is a unique discipleship program for elementary aged children that combines recreation, snacks, crafts, creative Bible story presentations, and Bible memorization. TeamKID is designed so that kids learn about God and how He desires a personal relationship with them. It is through this relationship with God that our children can then impact the world around them. It is our prayer and desire that your children learn Biblical principles and develop relationships that will help them rely on God’s strength as they face the pressures of everyday life and become world changers.

The week hosts a theme based curriculum where the children learn daily Bible verses, do a Bible-based craft and participate in recreation.
