This fall Heritage will launch a tutoring and after-school kids club for the children in our community. Eligible students are those in first through fifth grade. Children receive small group or one-on-one tutoring from adults and high school students. In addition they attend enrichment classes, which run for 4 weeks at a time, to learn a variety of skills.
Tutoring occurs on Wednesday afternoon from 2:30-5:00pm during the school year. Children eat at snack and have an opportunity to participate in a recreational sport activity or time on our playground followed by a short Bible lesson. Then they are dismissed to classes and tutoring. Children attend enrichment classes for 45 minutes and spend 45 minutes in small group or one-on-one tutoring with an adult or high school student
