Parking Lot Greeters
First impressions are important! Be the first point of contact for people as they enter the parking lot on Sunday morning! Parking Lot greeters should know where the location of most things are (such as which service is in which building, and where childcare is located) and be on the lookout for new faces to help them to get to where they need to be.
Tent Greeters will have the primary goal of being able to recognize new faces and engage with them so that we can make sure they can be personally escorted to where they want to be and that any questions they have can be answered on the way there.
Our Greeters have the distinct opportunity to be the guiding hand into Heritage! With a friendly smile, and a handshake (or hug!), you are the beginning to creating a welcoming and warm environment! Greeters are another point of contact to help guide people to the correct service, or to make sure that a family with kids knows where they can find childcare!
Information Desk (Sanctuary) / Connect Table (Ignite)
The information desk is the gateway into being more connected at Heritage! We’re looking for servers who love Heritage and often participate and know about our upcoming events, and where things are located (such as which service is in which building, and where childcare is located) and can provide accurate information and directions to anyone who might need it.
We have two coffee fellowship teams for each set of worship services: Sanctuary and Ignite. The teams for both of these areas are responsible for helping set up, serve, and breakdown before and after the 9 AM services. Ignite also has a 10:30 AM team responsible for coffee fellowship.
We have multiple teams of Ushers during our worship services that do a variety of things from helping people find a seat to collecting the offering.
Offering Ushers (Ignite)
The offering ushers are responsible for collecting the offering during Ignite. Since this service is held in our Family Life Center and is overseen by our Youth Pastor this is a great opportunity for middle schoolers and high schoolers to participate and serve on Sunday mornings!
Our worship team does an amazing job every weekend leading our congregation in worship and bringing them closer to Jesus! We are always looking for singers and anyone who can play an instrument to join the worship team!
The Tech Team helps run the soundboard, lights, slides and technical equipment before and during the services. We’re always looking for people who think quick on their toes, have good problem-solving skills, and can go with the flow! We have three branches to our Tech Team: Sound, Video, and Livestream.
This is a once a month serving opportunity with a rotating schedule, so you won’t be serving every month. Our Communion Servers not only understand why we hold Communion but also understand the unmistakable gift we are given through it and are eager to share that with others!
Golf Cart Drivers
This serve team is responsible for recognizing when someone is new, might have mobility issues, or have little ones in tow, and providing them with a quicker and safe way to and from their chosen service.
