STRIVE Volunteer Work Day · Heritage UMC

Strive Volunteer Work Day, which takes place in February, is a full day of volunteer work around the community. Groups are split up by grade level and sent out to do the work of God at various locations. The tasks done by the groups usually include manual labor inside or outside such as cleaning, yard work, painting, etc.

During a stressful time of the school year, Strive is the perfect activity for students to participate in to get away from the school work and spend time with friends and God. This day is perfect for students who want to help and make a difference but don’t have time to commit to a full mission trip. Strive can also be a great day for newcomers to meet new people and become acquainted with the church.
