Heritage currently has missionary partners in 4 different countries: The E Family in Vietnam, Yvonne Pierre in Haiti with ICDM, Victorious Heritage UMC in Cuba, and New Life Center in Zambia.
Local
We believe that it is our calling to send people out into the world to show God's love for people everywhere, but we also recognize that's not an option for everyone for various reasons.
For that reason, and because we love our community, we have a lot of mission opportunities right here at Heritage and in our local community!
Koins for Kids
On the last Sunday of each month, you’ll hear the jingle of coins in service during the offering time. All loose coins are donated on that Sunday to a designated organization to support and/or partner with children in need. Click below to find out more.

CarePortal and Heritage
What is CarePortal?
CarePortal is a technology based platform that brings the needs of children and families in our community to our attention. Caseworkers uncover the needs and submit requests through CarePortal. Then, CarePortal makes local churches and community members aware, giving them a real-time opportunity to respond.
Heritage has joined CarePortal in an effort to support families and at risk children in our communities that are experiencing real-time needs. Our hope is to meet the needs that a family might not be able to meet. A need that a family might need could be a bed or crib, or payment of a utility bill. These are needs that can be quickly and easily met that will enable families to stay intact and out of the Foster Care system.
How Can You Help?
Our Missions Ministry and Social Justice Team have joined forces to help meet this ever-growing and critical need in Pinellas County. Janet Prueitt will be our contact here at Heritage to receive requests from CarePortal and relay those requests to the congregation.
